When my husband and I decided to sell our home, we were very reluctant as the purchase of our first house in 1993 was a nightmare. The agent took us to many houses that were not in any way to our taste for weeks on end. We finally settled , but was not completely satisfied with our purchase. This time in 2005, I was fortunate enough to contact Denise Morrissey from Coldwell Banker Real Estate for both the sale of my house and the purchase of a new one. Ms. Morrissey asked me to list specific items that I would consider to make our new house our dream house. I did as requested and to my surprise, The only houses that she showed us were to our standards.
The house we purchased was only the fifth house we looked out and in a weeks time.
As for the sale of our own house, My husband and I were set on a bottom line price and Ms Morrissey held an open house every weekend and showed it relentlessly , and only to serious buyers, until we had a firm offer that we were happy with. She gave me tips on how to make our house appealing to buyers She excepted my phone calls at all hours of the day and evening when we were discourraged as our first excepted offer fell through. She encourage us to be strong, and low and behold our next offer floated in.
Through the months to follow we had many highs and lows and had it not been for Denise's persistance in matters that even our attorney was negative about, I don't think my sale would have been final. Denise made calls and settled many conflicts that occurred right up until the day of our closings.
It was a tough road, but having a real estate agent that worked so diligently for us, her clients, was a relief . It was a pleasure to converse with her and her smile always brightened our day even when it seemed as if we were doomed to maintain a residence that we wanted so despirately to sell.
If ever we decide to leave our home, Denise Morrissey is the ONLY agent I would ever consider using again.
